Lynk, a global leader spearheading the “Knowledge as a Service” (KaaS) sector, announced the appointment of Kimberley Cole as the Global Head of Sales, and Liam Bussell as the Global Head of Marketing. Cole joined Lynk from Thomson Reuters (now Refinitiv), while Bussell joined from Diginex.
Cole has an extensive background in financial services and technology with over 25 years’ experience as a recognized global sales and marketing leader. She held leadership positions for Thomson Reuters across Australia, the U.K., Singapore and Hong Kong. She rose to become one of the company’s most senior female executives and part of its Asia Pacific executive team. In her most recent role as Head of Solution Sales and Business Development for Asia at Thomson Reuters, Cole oversaw a team of over 150 sales specialists for the company’s financial and risk business, worth US$6.5 billion. As an advocate for change, Cole is on the advisory council for women on boards at the Women’s Foundation. She also co-founded and chaired Women in Finance in Asia, a forum for women in financial services with over 1,700 members.
Alongside Cole, Lynk has also appointed Bussell, who has 18 years’ experience leading highly successful marketing campaigns across Asia for disruptive technology companies. His extensive experience spanned across DST (NYSE “DST”), Mintel, World First (acquired by Ant Financial), BC Group, and most recently Diginex, a blockchain securities company where he worked as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Tokenisation, during which he advised the Armenian Government on its technology policy.
